We recommend looking at organic social performance weekly or bi-weekly to keep an eye on spikes in traffic for hidden opportunities to double down on an organic asset. 

Don’t forget to keep an eye on your Organic Social performance a few times a month to identify hidden opportunities for turn-key paid campaigns by repurposing high-performing organic content.

How do I view organic social performance 

  1. Login to your Northbeam dashboard
  2. Navigate to and click on the Sales Tab on the left panel
  3. Navigate to the Group by Traffic Source filter
  4. Add Category (Northbeam) as a breakdown and then select the (click to edit) option.
  5. Click Clear and then the checkbox for Organic Social

How do I view total blended view of organic social and search

  1. Follow the steps above.
  2. Click Apply to make these changes.
  3. You can change the granularity by clicking the ellipsis to the right of the Group by Traffic Source filter.
  4. Scroll down to the Campaign breakdown and expand Organic Social to view your current organic social efforts.
  5. You can double-click each row for detailed analytics, including Attributed Revenue and New Visits.
  6. Rows that start with Referral: refer to organic visits to your brand profile on the respective platform.

📚 EXAMPLE: “Referral: tiktok.com” tracks organic traffic and related metrics for your TikTok page. Rows with any other naming convention refer to a specific post. Your goal is to look for anything unusual like big spikes and check to see if there was a corresponding spike in Revenue and Sales. If so, you can choose to repurpose that organic content as a paid ad to juice revenue without paying for additional production.
