How do I use Breakdowns?

Gain more granular insights into your data to make informed decisions.

What are Breakdowns?

Breakdowns allow you to segment and analyze data by a specific attribute. When you view reports or analyze data in your Northbeam dashboard, you often see data aggregated as a whole, providing overall insights into various metrics such as website traffic, user behavior, conversions, etc. However, by using the Breakdown feature, you can drill down and view the data broken down into smaller, more specific subsets.

You can find Breakdowns in the OverviewSales, and LTV Pages to help you segment your data.

Built-In Breakdowns Available Now

You can apply Breakdowns to various reports or dashboard views in Northbeam. Your Northbeam dashboard comes equipped with the following 3 Breakdowns:

  • Category: Data is sorted by channels such as organic, email, affiliate, paid search, SMS, and more.
  • Targeting: Data is sorted by how you reach your audience, including prospecting, retargeting ads, branded search, and more. This provides a view of the top of the funnel.
  • Platform: Data is sorted by platforms such as Facebook, Google, Klaviyo, or Twitter. You can easily compare each platform against your benchmarks and each other.
