Visits Discrepancies

There could be a couple of reasons for discrepancies in your visit data.

If you’re seeing low visits or inflated CPCs, reference the tracking principles.

Other considerations for Visit discrepancies

• There will always be a discrepancy between in-platform clicks and NB visits. 

• • Visits/CPC are calculated using Visits, which are tracked by our pixel. 
  • Visits align closer to a Landing Page View, rather than a Click. Not all clicks result in visits; therefore, there will always be fewer NB Visits than in-platform Clicks. 
  • Be sure to check the ratio between in-platform clicks and NB Visits. 
• If you’re looking for visits from a platform without a Northbeam integration, these often fall in the Other platform group.
